Slimline Card "Hilsa" by Alena Christin - Ambassador

Hi everyone,

It’s November and Christmas is just around the corner. So, today I’ve colored Hilsa from the Smiles Collection in Christmas colors for you. She’s all set and ready to go :-))

You can find the lovely Hilsa in the Mirtillamente Craft Shop.

This time, instead of cutting out the image, I simply adapted the background and paper to fit a slimline card. I think the red and green really pop against the white background. What do you think?

I used an aperture card to crame this fab image. A bow and sentiment complete my card.

Slimline Card "Alexia" by Alena Christin - Ambassador

Hello everyone,

... Sending you Hellos and Smiles. For this Slimline Card I used the Alexia digital stamp from the Le Pine Collection.

She is part of the new release available at the Mirtillamente Craft Shop.

I colored Alexia using bold shades of green and purple. To match, I blended a green background. Bold sentiments were chosen to complement the card.

Card ''Camille Triple Moon'' and ''Poison Spells'' by Angela - Creative Team

Hello everyone!

Camille Triple Moon is one of the new digis in the Mirtillamente Craft Shop. 

You can find her in the Le Pine Collection.

Of course you can use her for a Halloween card, but I decided to use her for a birthday card.... together with the digi Poison Spells (also from the latest release).

One of the great things about digis is that you can resize the digis in any size you wish. For this card I wanted the digi "Poison Spells" to match "Camilla", so I reduced it. I printed and cut the digis with my Silhouette Cameo. I also cut the black shadows with the Silhouette.

I coloured both digis with my colouring pencils. After colouring I glued the images and the sentiment (made in the Silhouette software) on the black shadow. The background was made in the software from the Silhouette and printed. After printing I glued the background om black cardstock.

With some glue I adhered Camille and the sentiment on the card. The ''Poison Spells'' was adhered on the card with a little action wobble.

I coloured this image up with markers and pencils. I embossed white card and made a BG to suit. A bow and sentiment finish the card.

Slimline Card "Selene Gipsy" by Alena Christin - Ambassador

Hi everyone,

I find October so beautiful. All the colors are so vibrant and yellow and orange seem to be everywhere.

That’s why I colored Selene Gipsy from the new release using these colors.

For the background, I kept the mixed-media work very subtle so the vibrant colors would really pop. I decided to go with a slightly larger sentiment this time.

Slimline Card "Daisy" by Alena Christin - Ambassador

Hi everyone,

Today I’m sharing another new digital stamp from the new release.

For this Slimline Card, I used the digital stamp featuring the cute Daisy from the Smiles Collection.

Just like with my previous card, I kept the background simple and pastel-toned because I really wanted to color Daisy in a vibrant yellow-orange. A few hearts and the sentiments round everything off nicely.

Card "Alexia" by Angela - Creative Team

Hi there,

Summer is gone and it's a little chilly now here in the Netherlands. It’s time to swap the shorts and T-shirts for long trousers and jumpers. 

Alexia is ready for the fall and wearing a gorgeous jeans.... so much fun to colour. I coloured with my colouring pencils. Alexia is one of the adorable digis Eve released recently. 

You can find her in the Mirtillamente Craft Shop in the Le Pine Collection. 

I had no designpaper that matched the coloured digi, so I used cardstock and made the background by die cutting circles in matching cardstock. It was fun arranging the circles on the slimline card. I used 3D dots to adhere the image on the card. A 'warm' sentiment completes the card.

Slimline Card "Tulipa" by Alena Christin - Ambassador

Hi everyone,

Today I’m sharing a new digital stamp from the latest release available at the Mirtillamente Craft Shop.

I used the beautiful Tulipa from the Smiles Collection. 

To let Tulipa really shine, I deliberately kept the background simple. I colored the digital stamp in a lovely shade of purple. I decided to make the sentiments stand out a bit more against the background, though.

Slimline Card "Farlee" by Alena Christin - Ambassador

 

Hi everyone,

Today I’m sharing another creation in red featuring Farlee from the Le Pine Collection, which you can find at the Mirtillamente Craft Shop.

I just felt compelled to color Farlee in red, just like I did recently with Caroline....I’m sure you remember her.

For the background, I kept things simple with a slightly lighter shade of red, since too much red can easily look overwhelming. That’s why I added a small sentiment and a few red enamel dots to the card.

Doesn't Farlee look fantastic? I’m curious to hear what you think of her.

Card "Cocktails" by Angela - Creative Team

Hi there,

On these hot days, you'll want some cool drinks.

Luckely, the Mirtillamente Craft Shop sells a super cool digital stamp Cocktails from the Eat&Drink Collection. It is a digi with three tasteful cocktails, which also can be used seperately.

I have made three CAS cards with it.

This time I coloured them with aquarel markers. I embossed the white background paper by drawing some lines with my Scroll Pall, adhered the image with 3D dots and finished the card with a sentiment and some half pearls.

Slimline Card "Caroline Summer" by Alena Christin - Ambassador

Hi everyone,

It’s August.....peak summer season. Ice cream, the beach, sun and the sea... what more could you ask for this time of year? Caroline Summer from the Le Olivie Collection is all set for the beach, too. Naturally, she has a matching beach bag to go with her outfit. You can find this fantastic digital stamp at the Mirtillamente Craft Shop.

I lightly blended some red ink for the card's background. This time, I colored the image entirely using various shades of red. I also added a small sentiment and some enamel dots to the card.

I love Summer, cocktails, warmth on my back and longggggg daiys! Bliss!

Slimline Card "Happy Birthday Lady No. 2" by Alena Christin - Ambassador

 

Hi everyone... things are looking a bit red again today. I’m really loving red at the moment. Do you like red too?

For this project, I used the Happy Birthday Lady No. 2 digital stamp from the Svario Collection.

I designed the background to match the coloring—in red, of course! :-) To let the image really stand out, I deliberately kept the background simple, adding only the sentiment and a few enamel dots.

Card "Bloom" by Angela - Creative Team

Hi there,

For this blogpost I made a CAS card with the lovely Bloom from the Nature Collection.

You can find this beauty in the Mirtillamente Craft Shop, among with so many other fantastic digis.

This time I coloured a part of the digi; as always with colouring pencils. After colouring I cut out the digi and stuck it onto the card using 3D dots, so that the coloured flower stands out just a little more.

A sentiment and some half-pearls complete the card.

This is my inspiration post and I loved making it as sipping cocktails is a favourite pastime!
